    Default MK1 JZS147 Aristo BPU

The time has come to bid farewell to my beloved MK1 Aristo. I’ve got engaged and moving house soon and I have too many vehicles. I hardly use it and I really need the cash for the new house. The insurance has now expired and due to the hefty cancellation penalty. I can’t justify the outlay. Its still has 6 months tax and MOT on it.

I’m looking for offers in the region of £3250, and if the offer is a good one I’ll even throw in a standard set of wheels and tyres free So don’t be afraid to make me a sensible offer.

    1992 Toyota Aristo JZS147
    3.0L Twin Turbo
    155,000KM (96k miles)
    6 Months MOT
    6 Months Road Tax
Royal Jade Pearl (Toyota dark green 6K2 1988-1997)
    Cream Leather
    Electric driver and passenger seats
Leather steering wheel with electric away function
    Four-speed auto with Power mode
    Traction control
    Driver's airbag
    Air Con
    Electric heated folding mirrors
    Air purifier
    Rear passenger ventilation

    Modifications
Straight through Stainless Steel exhaust from downpipe (passes MOT as non cat vehicle)
Supra UK spec Front 4 pot Brakes (refurbished)
    Blitz Access ECU
    Walbro 255lph Fuel pump
    Blitz Electronic Boost Controller
    Boost Gauge
    Blitz Dump Valve
    Custom Polished Airbox
    APEXI Air Filter
    Polished Engine Bay
Carbon wrapped Engine bay plastics and Strut brace
    Silicon Hoses
    Einbach Coilovers at front
    Tannabe lowering springs at rear
    Front Camber Adjustment Rollers
Borbet TTE Alloys with the proper 10” rears

Blue LED interior Bulb Kit (not fitted)
    Custom Stereo Facia
Stereo fixings to run any headunit off Amp.
Foglight (The foglight was hidden in the brakelight panel but last mot place wanted a fixed one. Never been a problem before)
    Rear Spoiler
Cat 1 immobiliser and certificate of installation

    Parts Replaced
    4 New Tyres
    Wishbones
    Ball joints
    Camber Adjustment bolts
    Oilpump
    Front Main Seal
    Waterpump and gaskets
Engine Top End gaskets (inc Valve stem seals)
    Power steering pressure pipe
    Engine Hoses
    #1 & #2 Turbo’s reconditioned
    ABS ECU
    Brake Master Cylinder
    Brake Fluid Sensor
    New Battery

    Good Points
The car has some nice upgrades
Car Fully BPU’d (Basic Performance Upgrade)
Bodywork and engine are in great condition
Most of the cars main components have been replaced or refurbished.
Car was fully checked out and MOT’d by AFR Surrey. These guys know Supras and Aristo’s inside out just ask PJ
Load of spare parts that have been replaced

    Bad Points
These cars are old and will need a certain amount of ongoing maintenance as old cars do.
There are a couple of intermittent faults
Traction Control Butterfly valve can be a bit sticky. This causes the TRC light and ergo the ABS light to come on. THE ABS WORKS FINE
An occasional misfire occurs this is because coil pack wiring harness is showing wear and will need replacing. It was identified by AFR Performance specialists in Surrey. It is not something that needs to be replaced immediately but something to bear in mind for the future. It’s a standard job and shouldn’t cost that much.
